The Whiskey Creek Zócalo

The Whiskey Creek Zócalo, a restoration building project that is part of the non-profit Five Points Project, will be completing an outdoor stage. Operating under the fiscal sponsorship of the Mimbres Region Arts Council, this stage will facilitate performances for diverse groups of performers and artists, as well as serve as a community space for local events such as poetry readings, workshops, and acoustic music gatherings. It will also serve as a sight where people can gather and share important family occasions. The large stage will provide an opportunity to invite bigger acts and enhance entertainment opportunities locally as well as encourage tourism to Silver City.
